The voluntary recall includes products that were distributed in the United States and Canada that were sold individually, in Baby Arrival Gift Sets, Baby Basics Gift Sets and in Honest Diaper Cakes, according to Good Housekeeping.
The Honest Company recall has occurred after a mold contamination was found during routine quality testing. The company states:
"We believe the affected product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences, however, impacted wipes do have a spotted discoloration and the aesthetics are unacceptable."

"I'm not lying you guys, this is glass on my daughter's wipes. I'm just so heartbroken that I didn't notice this sooner."

Syracuse.com reported 10 different brands of baby wipes were recalled for possible bacteria contamination in 2014. Pennsylvania 's Nutek Disposables placed a nationwide voluntary recall on Cuties, Diapers.com, Femtex, Fred's, Kidgets, Member's Mark (Sam's Club), Simply Right (Sam's Club), Sunny Smiles, Tender Touch and Well Beginnings.
Smells and discoloration were found on the wipes, with Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia), a bacterium that can be resistant to common antibiotics, discovered on some of the recalled products. B. cepacia can affect people with weakened immune systems or lung disease, causing pneumonia and other medical issues.
