The question of honesty has become very popular during last several years. It has been raised as a more ethical than political issue in social sphere. Honesty as itself can not be defined as a confirmed conception. The reason for it s its versatility, the thing that keeps us from judging everything from just one point of view. From Theodor’s Roosevelt point of view honesty is “not so much a credit as an absolute prerequisite to efficient service to the public”. This person, one of the greatest leaders of America, considered honesty to be criteria for those who intended to be a great part of public and social life. He thought it’s impossible for a politician or a public figure to be dishonest because that way the person is disillusioning the whole nation.
The issue is, lie is percept not by separate people who are not connected. It influences grassroots and elite, workmen and managerial class. Deception is a thing that can’t go without consequences. And the consequences are turning to be very bleak prospects for those who created the deception and let it go to the “wild”.
Our world is changing. The change is rapid and inevitable and the farther it goes the more irreversible it becomes. Rarely do we notice the signs that let us know that change is already happening. Is it a developing globalization? Is it a combination of private and public sectors? Is Does it exist, anyway? The answers for these questions are supposed to be found not by those who are deceived, but by those who are deceiving without thinking of any consequences it may have? The greatest problem consists in the disbelief constant deceiving may result in. In the people disillusioned. And the government that has been distrusted once will never rehabilitate itself not in a hundred years.
