There method of enforcing them which I find really brilliant is that they encourage students to report cheating on other students. This is even worse because, students are everywhere to be seen and, they know the tricks that other students use to cheat. Moreover, have you ever heard of the saying “honesty is the best policy?”Well this would apply to what is being said here because, cheating is also another act of lying to someone that you didn’t get help taking an exam. And,when you take that with you into the real world in a career and, god forbid you get caught you’ll get fired by your boss. In conclusion I believe that maintaining an honor code at school reminds students to have moral values and, a responsibility to perform honestly in their school environment. Personally if my school enforced honor codes I would actually feel more comfortable taking exams without people staring at my work. Even at my own school Edward R.Murrow High school there aren’t any honor codes. But, unlike college the rooms in high school are small enough for the teachers to keep an eye on every student. But, in poor performing schools honor codes will create less bullying and, it will encourage students to have moral values they can take
