Hoodies: The Dangers Of School Uniforms

A major issue as of now in school is the disagreement between students and educators about jackets and sweat shirts. Since the building is under construction still, air from outside tends to get in and as the weather gets colder, so does the classroom. Hoodies are a safety hazard since we are a vocational school, which I understand. But, no one likes to freeze. Not many students have warm attire that does not include a hood. So, the students try to tuck their hoods underneath their uniforms so they avoid the dangers that might come about but they are then punished for not following regulations. For instance, a girl in my lab was wearing a hoodie under her smock. Our teacher told her to take it off and she was left freezing the rest of the period.
