Imagine a world full of mischief and magic; a world where the battle of good versus evil relies on one boy. Harry Potter is a seven book series created by J. K. Rowling, full of magical battles, mythical creatures and the mighty battle of good versus evil. Throughout Harry’s seven years at Hogwarts, he has had to deal with a great number of challenges, especially with Voldemort. Harry and his friends face their most difficult challenge in their last year at Hogwarts by embarking on the quest that former head master Dumbledore left: they are to destroy all of the Horcruxes.

To the Christian mind, the snake was seen as a devious creature, tempting all who walk in its path; much like in the story of Adam and Eve, where the serpent tempted Eve to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil. With Nagini, her ability to shed her skin allowed her to become whoever she wanted in order to obtain the victim she craved. Nagini’s power was demonstrated in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, where Harry was visiting Bathilda Bagshot in Godric’s Hollow, but he was instead visiting Nagini. “He saw it out of the corner of his eye; panic made him turn and horror paralyzed him as he saw the old body collapsing and the great sneak pouring from the place where her neck had been” (DH 340).
