To be honest, we don’t know what to make of Horse Family Simulator, except like it seems like a GTA game except that you’re controlling a horse. Jokes aside, it’s a rather funny game given that you wouldn’t really know what to do in it at first except roam around. The game lets you gallop free across the vast open world, letting you interact, attack, and gain allies with other horses and animals. Anyway, is it worth playing this queer and one-of-a-kind game? Wolves do not move in a pack, bears are docile, and the humans aren’t exactly human-like. Moreover, the human towns feel abandoned: only houses are around, no human beings unless if you’re there to complete quests.
The graphics are ok and there are animal sounds which helps you get immersed further into the game. It’s not the best game in terms of presentation, but it does a pretty good job. In-game bugs aren’t that pronounced and thankfully, the collision physics are nearly-realistic. Unfortunately, the worst part of Horse Family Simulator are the sudden appearance of advertisements. It is extremely frustrating, especially since they appear almost every time you pause the game or go back to the main menu.
The main meat of Horse Family Simulator is when you find other horses to start your very own herd. Defending them from aggressive animals, like wolves, will also come into play.
