Adolf Hitler killed an estimated 12 million people during World War II. Hitler grew up with the hatred of Jews. He started concentration camps to get rid of all of the Jews because he thought they were the reason for Germany losing World War I. This is why World War II happened. Adolf Hitler was a powerful leader who had a significant role starting World War II. During the early life of Adolf Hitler, he had very rough times. To start, Hitler was born April 20, 1889. His parents were Alois and Klara Hitler, he also had seven siblings. By the time he was fifteen he was failing high school (Price). Hitler dropped out of school at sixteen and spent the next two years at home drawing. Afterword, he moved to Vienna, Austria so he could become an artist. Hitler got rejected at the art school and became homeless until he had joined the war on August 2, 1914 at age twenty-five. Hitler had a rough early life and was not able to accomplish his dream of being an artist.
