First, how was Agatha Christie’s writing affected by her childhood. Ever since Agatha Christie was young, she never got sent to a real school . Her family was not wealthy enough to send to a real school, they were only comfortable . Since she never got sent to a school, she was home taught (Biography.com [1]) . She got to teach herself how to read at a very early age. But how was she going to make friends if she lived in the middle of nowhere and did not go to school ? She had to make her own imaginary schoolmates and friends , which helped her with her creativity to further enhance her writing (Berlin[1]) . Her two main influences were her grandmother and her sister . Her grandmother has her own character and has appeared in twelve of her novels by the name of Miss Marple , A few of those novels include The Murder at the Vicarage , The Body in the Library , and The Moving Finger (Agatha Christie’s Biography [1]) . Her grandmother and her sister always told her stories , ranging from being the dramatic and suspensful stories , to being the scary and frightening ones .
