How Did Alexander The Great Become King
Alexander the Great was born on July 20, 356 BC to King Philip II of Macedon and Queen Olympia. He was trained from a young age to be a ruler and military leader because of his father and mother telling him of warfare. When his father died at 19, he was determined to become the heir to the throne and kill any people who had a chance of becoming the next king or queen. Some of these people he had murdered were Cleopatra and the daughter of King Philip II. Once he was king he was not given full power yet, people didn’t like his father therefore were planning doing things on their own with the government. To stop this, he sent troops down there and told them he was now their leader.
