The Great Depression
The Great Depression was one of the most challenging times for America. During the Depression many people struggled to have enough money to survive and have basic necessities like food, water, and homes. The Depression was the greatest economic crisis the United States has ever experienced. During this time, Americans were becoming increasingly desperate. Severe sacrifices were taken during this era. Large amounts of money were lost and many suicides took place in this time. It was unclear if America would ever recover from this tragic depression.
