How Did Andy Warhol Change The World

Andy Warhol was a boy born in Pittsburgh on August 6,1928. He had Sydenhams Charea, a disease that affects the nervous system, which made it hard for him to attend school. As he approached the age of 14, he started attending the Carnegie Institute to take art classes. At the same age, he lost his father and fell into depression, resulting in him losing a childhood. However, Andy Warhol’s dad had worked to put money into his college education. After he graduated from college, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in art. He was an uncommon artist at the time of the 1950’s, winning awards for his art style. Throughout this time period, he became one of the most famous commercial artists. However, he never wanted to be famous. He wanted to become successful at what he had did. As he transitioned into the 1960´s, he started a movement known as the pop art movement. The pop art movement lasted until the early 1970’s, being the largest art movement of its time.
Pop art is paintings that are primarily focused on commercial goods.
The Campbells soup can, which was one of Warhol´s famous artwork, changed the art world into what it is today. Other artwork like his Marilyn Monroe painting, expanded his popularity. In 1964, he opened his own art workshop, which became a scene for many art enthusiasts around the globe. Four years later, Warhol died in a hospital on February 22,1987. His art career would go down as one of the greatest of his time.. Andy Warhol was a remarkable man who was one of the most influential artists of the 1900’s. He took an inanimate object and made into a new style of art that made him famous. Even after his death, people wouldn’t forget about him because Warhol’s work was basically everywhere. Without a person like Andy Warhol, there probably wouldn’t be no art transformation that he created. I believe that people were drawn to Andy Warhol because he was a unique person who created something different that no one else has
done.
