Anne Frank and her family had to live in fear most of her life. They had to live knowing that if they were found in the attic, it would be like writing their death sentence. Sending around 6 million jews to their certain demise and scarring millions of more for life was bad enough, but they also split up families that have loved each other for years. They did this to Elie Wiesel when he was in Auschwitz.“ Men to the left! Women to the left!” (Wiesel, 27) Elie was split up from his mother and sister. Elie’s mother and sister were most likely killed. The holocaust ripped apart Elie’s family probably without a second thought. Also in Auschwitz, they burned children. “A lorry drew up at the pit and delivered its load--little children. Babies! Yes, I saw it--saw it with my own eyes. . . .those children in the flames.”(Weisel, 30) The babies were not killed beforehand and were thrown into the fire alive and left to die slowly and painfully. There is no way Anne frank could justify this action.
Until Anne Frank finds a good event that came out of killing millions of jews, she will not be able to justify that people are good inside. First, they split up her family leaving her to die without her father. They murdered children in fires and also hanging them. They let children die a slow painful death. While leaving their permanent mark on the earth by killing millions of jews. therefore, the holocaust made living a few years in concentration camps an achievement when it should be easy not thought about topic for the age groups of
