Over the years Asclepius became very well known from his medical skills. So well that once Athena came to him and gave him some Gorgon blood. This blood ends up being the death of Asclepius. The way that Gorgon blood works is that if it came from the right side of the Gorgon then it could help in bringing people back from death. And this is what Asclepius did. He was known for going to all sorts of towns healing the sick and dying. In the end, it started to make Hades, the Greek God in charge of the Underworld, angry. He felt that he was being robbed of the one thing that belonged to him, all the dead souls. So in the end, Hades went to Zeus to plead his case. Zeus listened to him and also showed worry for the situation. His worry was that it completely messed up the order of Nature.
