How Did Donald Trump Build A Wall?
Donald Trump is the Republican choice and holds views which beforehand were only used as internet jokes, which has led many to initial think he was a joke run for president before he realised he could actually win. He believes that a wall should be built on the Mexican border to prevent people from crossing over without earning a USA citizenship, and also thinks that Muslims should not be allowed into the country in case they are terrorists. Some however think that by “build a wall” actually means he will just increase security, among these are Collan H. who says “Many say that Trump is actually going to build a wall, but he won't.” Many criticize him by saying that he will be persecuting Muslims and that his plan of having a special Muslim

The election had surprises for both sides. On the Republican side most people were surprised Donald Trump was elected Republican Nominee. On the Democratic side, everyone was surprised on how long it took for Hillary Clinton to beat the unknown senator Bernie Sanders. These two are the exact opposites. Trump believes that we should build a wall between Mexico and the United States, and Mexico will pay the bill. He also says that he will temporarily ban Muslim immigrants from certain countries. On October 26, 2006, U.S. President George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006 to help secure the US. Mexican border to decrease drug trafficking and security threats. The act mandated the construction of almost 700 miles of barrier fences along the Mexican border. The act also appropriated the expansion of checkpoints, vehicle barriers, and technological systems designed to monitor the expanse of the boundary but per the department of homeland security, this promise had not been kept, just 5 percent of the double-layer fencing is complete, only 36.3 miles. Under those circumstances, the boldest promises made by the president-elect, Donald Trump, as well as one of his first promises, was building a wall along the US-Mexican border.…

The Berlin Wall, three words which bring to mind some of the most turbulent and confusing years twentieth century Germany had ever seen. Often, when discussing this topic, most of the focus mainly surrounds the construction and destruction of this great barrier. Although these topics will be discussed at length, the reasons for its construction and later destruction began long before any sign of an official barrier made an appearance.…

Henry Payne's cartoon "For Illegal Immigrants by Illegal Immigrants" shows us the Irony of Donald Trump wanting to build a Wall/ Fence, to keep illegal immigrants out of the united states. Payne's cartoon is ironic because Trump wants to get rid of immigrants but yet immigrants are the ones that do the dirty jobs other legal people don’t want to do. Trump wants illegal immigrants to build the very wall that will keep the out of a country that offers liberty and many opportunities for all kinds of people. Payne’s cartoon has bias against the fact that Donald Trump Wants to build a wall to keep immigrants out of the United States. Payne’s cartoon will help my paper because it tells people that are in favor of the wall being built that without…

On June 16, 2015, in the extravagant Trump Tower of New York City, Donald John Trump announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidency. While most Americans raised their eyebrows in bewilderment, comedians erupted in a dance that Happy Feet would envy. His bombastic personality, amorphous hair, and poorly photographed facial expressions have become some of the most popular political punchlines. Critics dissect his statements and possible solutions until they seem unrealistic, and some are, like building a “YUGGEEE” wall to separate America and Mexico. While Trump is one of the most successful men in America, he is portrayed in media to be an ignorant idiot by YouTubers, comedy writers, and even respected…

The people on the Liberal or Progressive side of the political spectrum are most outraged over the Muslim and refugee ban, the building of the wall between Mexico and the USA, and the Key Stone and Dakota Access Pipeline revival. The Muslim and refugee ban, as well as the Wall, are enacted on the discriminatory belief that all Muslims are terrorists and that all Mexicans are rapists or thieves. The ban of Muslims and refugees is only directed at the Middle Eastern countries that Trump has no business ties to, which is a little odd. Why not ban all Muslims? On the other hand, the wall is estimated to cost between 12 and 15 billion dollars. This wall is pointless. Why not direct this large sum of money to actually helping the American people? Trump could improve education, healthcare, and many other things. Trump has and will waste billions of dollars just to be racist and to benefit his business…

Trump thinks these ridiculous things are what’s right for our country, but it goes against everything that our country stands for. He wants to keep people out who are contributing to our country’s growth, while Hillary on the other hand wanted to do the opposite. She wanted to introduce a plan that gives immigrants coming into the United states a a easy and quick pathway to citizenship. According to her website, she has states that, “As president, she will work to fix our broken immigration system and stay true to our fundamental American values: that we are a nation of immigrants, and we treat those who come to our country with dignity and respect—and that we embrace immigrants, not denigrate them.” (Clinton 3) She was so determined to do this, that she vowed to make it happen within her first 100 days in office. Clinton has stated many times whether it was on her website, in an interview, or on live tv that she does NOT want to tear families apart. What she wanted was to bring in millions of hardworking people to strengthen our…

Immigrants founded the United States of America and ever since then there have been people from all over the world coming to America for a chance at a better life for themselves and their families. Immigrants from all over the world come, some legally and some illegally. A majority of these immigrants come from southern-border country Mexico. Everyday, the United States has hundreds of illegal immigrants come into the country. They cross over from the Rio Grande into Texas; they cross over into Arizona, New Mexico, and California. With all of the problems that the United States is facing from illegal immigration, maybe it is time that the American government should have a stronger form of border control. For years there has been talk of a stronger border and in some cases there has been action. However, with the opinions in favor of a stronger border security, such as a border wall, there are also strong opinions against the idea.…
