Henry Ford was one of the biggest, most successful failure. He didn't just fail once, but twice. His first failure was Detroit Automobile Company. Soichiro had a lot of hard times while he was creating the Piston Ring. He planned to sell this design of the automobile to Toyota. By this time, he got married and still did not create the Piston Ring. Then soon, he ran into a problem. He had no money, so he took his wife’s jewelry and sold it. After persevering through these times, he finally created the Piston Ring. He showed the engineers of Toyota and they made him go back to engineering school, where people laughed at his design. In result of all this, school helped him. Within two years he created the perfect Piston Ring and had a contract with Toyota. He then made a factory with the minimum supplies he had because of the Great Depression in Japan, and an earthquake broke it down. He built it back up, but during this time period, there was a war going on. Soon enough, the factory got bombed not once, but twice… wow. He then broke the contract with Toyota and created Honda, a bicycle company. These bicycles he built were misassembled and broke quite easily, but he didn't just give up there, he started making innovations to the bicycles and they were perfect. Then right when he was about to make automobiles, there was a gas shortage. He then made a small car that took less gas and it was exported in Europe and America because of good it was.
