Hip-Hop is a lifestyle some people live by that is consisting of four elements-- such as break dancing, graffiti art, disc jockey, and master of comedy-- coining together to form this term called “Hip- Hop”. Although some might not know, it but Rap and Hip-hop are too different style of music. when listening to (rap music) its more with Rhyming, with vulgar words, and raw beats-- some rap artists are Mos Def, Tupac, Notorious BIG, Wu- Tang, and Dr. Dre. As For hip- hop, it’s really popular in the black community because it has more of upbeat dance music, and less vulgarity in their lyrics, some hip-hop artist can be Outkast, P Diddy, Nelly, Ja Rule, and a lot more. In the late early day’s young people lack of dancehalls around their communities, so instead they come together to show off their moves in the streets: hence the name street dancing. This style of dancing is not like ballroom dancing or the cha-cha slides; it’s different from all the other dancing. Street dancing or break dancing was very popular especially for many youth and gangs. Certain gang member would come together and have a dance battle to win respect, turf, and money.
