How Did Houdini Become Famous

The main idea in the novel Houdini chapter 1 is mostly about Houdini becoming famous. Houdini became famous by doing a trick when he was trying to hold his breath by lowering his head underwater. He became famous because he holded his breath for 2 minutes. Harry Houdini was a magician that did lots of great tricks. Houdini wanted to become famous to be a magician and to do tricks in front of people that liked magic and were interested about it. Houdini did not want to become famous to earn money. Money was the least thing he was thinking about when he wanted to become famous.
