Joseph Stalin was born in gori georgia on 21 December 1879. Georgia was then a part of the Russian empire. Stalin’s original name was Iosif Visarionovich Dugashvili. His father was a cobbler and an alcoholic. His mother worked as maid. As a child joseph experienced the poverty that most peasants had to endure in Russia at the end of the nineteenth century. At the age of seven he suffered from smallpox. He survived but the scars remained on his face. Because of this he was called as pocky by his friends.

Over the years, Nelson Mandela received over 250 awards, including the Noble Peace Prize, for fighting for apartheid. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born on July 18 1918 in Transkei South Africa. The human rights issues he tackled included ending discrimination giving full citizenship to black people and abolishing apartheid (article 7). Throughout the years, in the attempt to end apartheid, Nelson Mandela didn't give up his goal. He did everything he could to end the traumatizing effects of apartheid. Mandela's courageous efforts are demonstrated by his multiple protests which lead to his 27 year imprisonment. What Nelson Mandela did for the people of South Africa and the world is priceless. He saved this generation and future generations to come. Nelson Mandela used his energy in order to protect human rights of Africans and their quality of living, which shows that a person like Mandela has no limitations in regards to how and when a goal is to be completed.
