How Did Julius Caesar Help The Poor
to rule and also helped Rome to be a better place. Julius Caesar helped Rome’s poor by having public job programs to aid the poor. He also fought battles and took over cities which helped expand Rome’s territory. Next he was also a really good military leader which made soldiers support him. Finally he brought peace and quiet to Rome Julius caesar crossed the rubicon which started a civil war that destroyed the republic of Rome. He gave land to landless people to provide reform and so people appreciated him. Caesar told the landowners to hire more free workers so that he was popular with Rome’s poor. Julius used Rome’s power and was cruel to people Rome defeated in battles. He also punished people who wanted to confirm the laws of the republic.
