The inspiration of Cubism
Yves Saint Laurent is known for his inspiration from arts and movements. He did a Haute Couture collection Fall/Winter 1979 were it was a tribute to Pablo Picasso who is known for the co-founder of cubism. This movement was one of the most innovated, radical, influential artistic movement among the avant garden. It was truly revolutionary style of modern art. Spring/Summer 1988 that was a tribute to Georges Braque. This talented man was a French painter also did printmaking and sculptor, he played in the development of Cubism.
