How Did Malcolm X Affect Society

Malcolm X was an American Muslim Minister and a human rights activist. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska United States on May 19th, 1925 and was assassinated on February the 21st, 1965, giving him a life span of only 40 years. Even after his death, he was considered one of the most greatest and influential African Americans in history. Malcolm’s social life mainly revolved around a group called the Nation of Islam (NOI). He also managed to make political and cultural developments through a free drug rehabilitation program through a group that he created. However, he experienced major events in his early life that later became a huge impact on his life. Other than the effect he had on himself, he also affected Australians when he gave speeches that spreaded worldwide about his beliefs and he how stood up for many people with no rights.
Soon after Malcolm’s parole, he changed his last name from Little to X because the last name Little was imposed on his ancestors by their slave master. After that, he became the group's most influential leaders and played as the public face of NOI for a dozen years. However, In March 1964 X starts to think that the Nation Of Islam and its leader, Elijah Muhammad as a disappointment.
