Imagine living in a world where everything is segregated. Where black and white people have different rights and can’t be in the same places as each other. Someone who helped change that was Martin Luther King Jr. He was a prominent figure in the 1960s. He was a civil rights activist in the Civil Rights Movement that fought for equal rights for everyone. Martin had a great childhood and his speeches were immaculate. He won the Nobel Peace Prize and was assassinated but left an amazing legacy on the world. Our society would not be where it is today without Martin Luther King Jr’s impact on it.
