The Blitzkrieg warfare that Nazi Germany used not only linked the ground troops together but it also allowed more than one branch of the army to fight together in unison. The army joined forces with the air force in perfect unison to utilize both branches’ full potential during these times. With the German Army’s advancements in strategy and artillery the Allied powers in Europe were not equipped to defend this type of battle. According to many historians many of the European countries were only ready to fight World War I all over again. Germany had learned from the First World War that improvements needed to be made; they also took into account what worked best, the tanks. While Germany had a strong and fast attack they could not keep this front up for much longer with the lack of resources they contained. Germany used the blitzkrieg strategy very well which effectively conquered the European Continent but they could not hold this for much longer. First, when the wartime was in full fledge the Allied powers contained the resources and man power to produce massive amounts of war artillery and supplies. The Allied powers had numerous resources specifically in the United States. The Allied countries were able to produce ammunitions, uniforms, and more importantly tanks and aircrafts at a much more rapid pace than the Axis countries. These countries were able to do this because the people of the country were behind the fight and willing and capable of helping the cause. The abundant resources that the United States contained helped tremendously to fuel the Army’s and Air Forces’ numerous vehicles. But the large fund and availability of the resources also allowed for the army to be supplied with anything they needed. The Axis powers were much the opposite. The resources were very scarce in Germany and the countries that had been conquered were not a large help at all. This allowed the Allied powers to continue to fight back and win. Without both sides having the resources in proportions that they did the allies most likely would not have been able to push back and win the war.
