Roosevelt could have hoped that economy would fix itself but he choose to do something about it and it was something no other president had ever done in out history.He took matter into his own hands and intervened in a massive scale with the federal government. He brought economist around him who had the same ideology as him. President Roosevelt was never scared of failure. He states if he failed he would just try again and keep on trying till it worked.
During his first 100 days in office he successfully put ten thousand people back to work. He gave away billions of federal money to save their homes from foreclosure and to save their farming land. He provided financial help to unemployed workers. He encouraged people to put their money back into the bank when people had lost faith in the banking system. He restored faith back into the bank and said it was better to have your money in the bank rather then under the bed. He was giving our citizens back hope and let everybody know that everything was going to be okay.

The people of america had felt like they had a president to whom anything and everything was achievable. One of the key things he would do is use the radio to communicate and get his message across to the people and use it to lift their spirits up and the people would listen to what he had to say because of the faith people had in him when he was the president.
