The U.S.S.R. had risen to power in 1917, the Soviet Union was created to overcome national differences. The first leader of The U.S.S.R. was Vladimir Lenin (April 22,1870-January 21, 1924) who had lead the Bolshevik Revolution. Lenin had fallen from power and had the transition to the well known Joseph Stalin (December 18, 1878-March 5, 1953) who had led Russia in WWII from 1929 to 1953. Stalin had attempted to keep the power of the Soviet Union at its height during WWII. Stalin had wanted to increase the scientifics of the U.S.S.R.

There was no ceremony of changing the flags. The Soviet Union would have never seen the fall coming so peacefully when Stalin was in charge but it seems that all great thing has to come to an end.
