How Did Stockman Decide To Close The Baths In An Enemy Of The People
In An Enemy of the People, Dr. Stockman discovered that the new baths in his town have been infected with a disease that could possibly be deadly. He wants to instruct the town to close the baths so that they could be repaired for the safety of the public. Dr. Stockman’s brother, the Mayor, does not believe the report that Dr. Stockman wrote and refuses to close the baths because he’s afraid it will cause a financial ruin of the town.
