How Did The Beer Hall Putsch
The Beer Hall Putsch, also known as the Hitlerputsch in Germany was a coup attempted by the Nazi Party, lead by Adolf Hitler. During the eighth and ninth of November 1923 about two thousand Nazi supporters marched on the centre of Munich. They fought with police, resulting in the death of four policemen and 16 Nazis as well as the injury of many including Hitler himself. Some may argue that this coup was not only Hitler’s inspiration for Mein Kampf, but also much of Hitler's hostility towards the current government.
Hitler hoped to forcefully take over the German government and become chancellor in place of the current regime. He and many others had been angered by their own governments reaction to the Treaty of Versailles, saying that it was

The Munich Putsch was unsuccessful because of bad preparation. The putsch consisted of the Nazis storming into a beer hall containing a meeting of anion politicians, and with speeches and private conversations Hitler persuaded them to join him. The Nazis then took over offices, a newspaper, and the army headquarters. The politicians were then allowed to go, and immediately notified Berlin and told the military and police to stop the police. The whole thing ended in disaster the following day, as the Nazis marched through Munich, the military and police shot 16 Nazis, and Hitler was arrested two days later. The putsch failed, as the seriously bad planning of just letting the politicians go free led to the Nazis being easily defeated.…

The Munich Beer Hall Putsch was an event that took place in 1923. The march on Munich was one of the first events where Adolf Hitler took power over Germany because he thought he had advantage over them since Germany was weak after the reparations they had to pay back to the allies from World War 1. Hitler marched on Munich because he wanted to take advantage of the crisis that the Weimar Republic was facing at the time. During the 1920’s the Weimar Republic was collapsing and was on it’s knees as much as Germany was at the end of World War 1. Therefore, since the Weimar Republic was weak and not as strong as before Hitler believed that he could investigate a new revolution in Munich. However, this attempt to rebel on Munich was a failure because it was poorly planned well and subsequently ended in the imprisonment of Adolf Hitler.…

Hitler’s political abilities were outstanding. In order to attract and unite the German citizens, he used his personality, propaganda and wisely planned his speeches. Hitler used simple and concise language during his speeches so all citizens will understand him more and hopefully support him. He also had strong propaganda slogans painted promises of an alluring future for Germany. His first and most significant point was the “rebirth” of Germany to after the catastrophic Treaty of Versailles, which would be abolished when he seized power along with the other reparations. He promised to improve economic prosperity by changing the strategy that the current government used. A German whom had given Hitler…

The Munich Putsche occurred on the 8th night and 9th morning of November 1923, it was an attempted rebellion led by Adolf Hitler and had massive significances for the NSDAP, 1923 to 1929. This was inspired by the march on Rome led by Mussolini only a year earlier. The plan was that the NSDAP would march from Munich to Berlin and over throw the parliament replacing it with an extreme right wing authoritarian government instead, it is not clear who would lead the new state but it is suggest it would be Ludendorff and not Hitler. As many historians believe Hitler at this time was not experienced enough and would not have been able to take on such a role. The Munich Putsche was carried out in November 1923 as the political and economical atmosphere was felt to be right by the Nazis and the perfect opportunity to carry out their plan of exploiting the governments’ failure at controlling hyper inflation and gain widespread population amongst the people. It is my intention within this essay to discuss the significance of the Munich Putsche and in doing so emphasis how this Putsche represents a turning point in Nazi history.…

Hitler’s plan for the Germans was that he wanted one race together and would risk anything to unite the German race. As was mentioned (Paragraph 1 Line 3, Chamberlain and Hitler, 1938), “When Adolf Hitler came to power, he wanted to unite all Germans into one nation.” Despite the obstacles he would face in the future, he turned to Czechoslovakia first and focused on the Sudeten Germans. He convinced Sudetenland Germans to protest and rebel against Czech authority. He began taking over Czechoslovakia city by city which caused other countries to raise concern on the situation.…

Hitler announced that the national revolution had begun and declared the formation of a new government. The putsch happened on November 8, of 1923. Hitler and his men created a plot to seize power of the Bavarian state government, and then in which they would take over the Weimar Government. The putsch was inspired by Benito Mussolini's march on Rome which had been successful in overthrowing the Italian Government in October of 1922. Hitler’s plan was to go to the Beer Hall where Von Kahr was supposed to be having a meeting with other associates. Ludendorff the talked to Kahr and two of his colleges into marching into Berlin with Hitler and his followers. Some argue about why all three of the men were let go that night but the simple answer is because there was no need for them until the march was going to take place, yet why didn’t they tell anyone Hitler made the mistake of leaving that night, his followers should’ve took over government buildings throughout Munich but their attempts were crushed by the city’s military troops. The following day Ludendorff led about 2,500 of Hitler's followers on a march in the city square, and too much of their surprises the police were waiting for them. Ample shots were fired and many were wounded. Historians argue that the reason Hitler left in such a hurry was because he was helping an injured boy. Nevertheless, Hitler was the one who was injured, he had been shot in the shoulder and was looking for an easy way out so that he would not have face his punishment. The three main causes of the Munich putsch were the growth of the Nazi party (55,000 members), weakness of the Weimar republic, and the example of Mussolini. The Weimar Republic was dealing with inflation after the invasion of the Ruhr by French and Belgian troops, they were also dealing with Right-Wing Terrorism and Left-Wing Rebellions. The…
