How Did The Brother Plan To Kill His Brother?
In my version of the story, I had the older brother plan to kill his younger brother. The older brother was planning to kill his younger brother because he was a burden to him. The youngest brother never intervened with his older brother's life or popularity, but it bothered the older brother. This led to the older brother to plan a murder for his brother. He hid a shovel in the forest and went out early every morning to dig a deep hole to put his brother in.

In the town, there was property damage and animals were being killed. This led to the younger brother to volunteer to search and kill the beast who was doing so. The brother was trying to show to the town people that he could also be the hero of the town and this would gain him admiration

He then realized his brother was planning to kill him, but he ended up killing him before he had the chance. The older brother was digging a hole long before so he could kill his younger brother and put him in it. He devised the plan of the beast terrorizing the town so he could venture out with his brother to hunt the beast. This is why the beast reference for the older brother is important because the beast always hunts its prey hence the younger brother.

Now the younger brother was not afraid anymore and decided to take his brother's place. When he went back home a few people and his brother's wife were at his door wondering if he knew where his brother was, he replied with, " I know nothing, what am I, my brother's keeper?"
The term my brother's keeper refers to the bible when Cain and murdered his brother Abel, and when God asked him where his brother was Cain replied, " I know not; am I my brother's keeper?"
This is important because one of the brothers was favoured by the people, but the other was not which led to the motive of planning the murder. The motive for Cain and the older brother was jealousy which led to their

The boys are fearful of the island and the boys take these fears to turn it into a creature of their imagination known to them as the “beast”. In document A it says,”they externalize those fears into a figure of a ‘beast’.” This evidence shows that the boys are scared and confused, the only way the boys can rid themselves of their fears and face them is to turn it into barbaric monster.” There is no snake thing. If there was we’ll hunt it and kill it.” This excerpt from document B shows that the boys are more believing in the animal the more they stay. Before long,…

Jack suggests that the boys can keep the ?beast? happy, by providing it with portions of meat from their s: ??And about the beast. When we kill we?ll leave some of the kill for it. Then it won?t bother us, maybe?? (147). In the graphic novel the “beast” is more than just a bull in the sense that it represents many other characteristics, but it is still a beast because it embodies the aggression, violence and fear shown in the boy and also in all of us as individuals. The hostility of the beast is shown through the physical killing of the aboriginal child, the pursuing of the bull, as well as the depression and the attempted suicide of the boy. A quote that conveys this is, “I have become such a beast”. All the anger we have inside us is represented by the bull, but also through the boy. The “boy” not having a name establishes this, because by being nameless he can personify all of us. When the boy is trapped in the amphitheatre cornered by the bull it metaphorically suggests that everything in his life up to that point is on a stage for him to examine. There is no escape he must confront the beast. By doing so he is tackling his fears, his anger and his guilt.…

Through the whole novel, the boys slowly start to lose themselves to the fear they have toward “the beast” that they believe live on the island. As the fear starts to bend some of the characters, it drives them to murder. Using “the beast” as one of the main symbols in the story, it represents the complete loss of humanity and civilization that the characters once had and the beginning of savagery in the boys as they begin to torture one another. As their actions become less humane, it eventually leads to the death of two main characters, Simon and Piggy.…

The oldest brother in the family has strong values but can't understand how his brother could get himself into so much trouble like this. He starts to get into things that his family would never imagine him doing, drugs and trouble.…

Golding argues that the boys' constant disagreements throughout the book come from a bigger, more threatening evil inside them. This is an example of an allegory to the story of Cain and Able. Due to his charisma and strong belief, Ralph becomes chief instead of Jack. Jack's ascending "mortification" (22) seen previously in the book, is eventually released in a full-on attempt to kill Ralph; "He ran forward, stooping. 'I'm chief.' Viciously, with full intention, he [Jack] hurled his spear at Ralph" (180). In this way what was a petty jealousy becomes a motivation for murder. Furthermore, this attempted murder is done after Jack assumes the position of chief, revealing that his conduct stems from…

However, when Cain murders his only brother, Abel, " The Lord answered him, ‘No: if anyone kills Cain, sevenfold vengeance will be exacted from him.' The Lord put a mark on Cain, so that anyone happening to meet him should not kill him" (Genesis, 4:15). The character of God isn't exactly loving or caring throughout the entire book of Genesis but he does, for some reason, save Cain from certain death for killing his own brother. Is this to teach Cain a lesson and have him live forever with his sin or is God saying it's morally just to murder…
