The Great depression changed the lives of people who lived and farmed on the Great Plains and in turn, changed America. My family and I are farmers, we’ve been dealing with so much hardship since the end of the Great War. What the world has been dealing with since the stock market crash, we dealt with it since the end of the Great War. The prosperity of the twenties never reached us, because at the end of the War we continued to produce as many crops as we did during the Great war. This later caused an overproduction.
