The reason for giving them an A is pretty obvious, they certainly met the common good with the adequate system but, the way that the people were entertained by men fighting, one another just for others enjoyment is repulsive, ending a life for someone to laugh is psychotic. Some things that people don’t realize is that one of the main reasons the people of Rome die is from the adequate system, the lead piping to be exact. The lead could very well be the main reason for the fall of Rome, the lead poisoning was so fatal but it was their own fault. Even though the laws applied to all citizens only free-born men could be the citizens so it’s kind of odd how the rule goes for women, slaves, and children all of which were incapable of being a citizen.
