How Did The Treaty Of Versailles Influence The First World War

Even though the Treaty of Versailles was meant to end future conflict, all it did was Influence a World War.Some of the reasons why include Germany wanting their land back, wanting a full army, having to pay billions of dollars to all the allied nations, and how the treaty made Germany feel as a whole.
When the Treaty was made, it included many rules and changes. One of those changes was that some of Germany’s land would be taken. The land that was taken included about 40% of their coal producing areas. All of the territories taken had Germans living there. If the land no longer belongs to Germany, the Germans would no longer be considered to be living in Germany.That would cause a great deal of conflict in itself because Most of those people might have not wanted to become a part of another country.Adolf Hitler states, “ It should scarcely seem questionable to anyone that… the restoration of the frontiers of 1914 could be achieved only by blood”(Document A). Since all the Allied and Associated Government felt Germany was the one that got everyone involved, they took a great amount away from the, and made sure they weren't going to try to cause more conflict.
