“The secret to getting ahead is getting started”. That quote was said by Mark Twain or Samuel Clemon think that it is the tale of my seventh grade year. In The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, the main character Tom Sawyer changes throughout the book. Like Tom Sawyer, I have also changed academically and socially throughout seventh grade. The main character Tom Sawyer changed throughout the book. In the beginning Tom was that kid that parents didn’t mind their children hanging around him, but they didn’t want their children to be him. He is now at the end, he is a real young boy that could become a soldier or a pirate anyday. Also, in the middle of the book, Tom was scared to go off alone without his friends or family. At the end he has more bravery that makes him more popular and more of a hero.
In the beginning of seventh grade year I could not kept my missing assignments down to zero. One day something just clicked and I could kept my missing assignments down to nothing finally, but sometimes I get one then I get it done right away.
