“It’s hard to imagine a childhood today without the magic of Walt Disney”(Goalcast). Walt Disney is groundbreaking because of his innovation and influence on the entertainment industry. Walt was an entrepreneur animator, voice actor and a film producer and a really creative soul overall. He brought great new technology that still exists. Produced a lot of astonishing movies, created one of the most known characters of all time. and made a television show. Lastly brought to life “The Happiest Place On Earth” with the support of his brother Roy.
Disney made many new technology contributions that spread worldwide. One of them was sensitive animatronics. “Audio-Animatronics are probably the Imagineers best known innovation”(Diu). He created sensitive animatronics that interacted with people. Now they are on display for people to interact with them at all of his parks. The first motion picture studio that got to sign with a network was Walt Disney Productions but it was because they needed financing for what is now known as Disneyland. “Walt concluded the agreement only because ABC provided financing for Disneyland in return for the show”(Dakss). The Mickey Mouse Club channel completely changed the life of children and adults. Encouraged by the ratings that the Disneyland new show on ABC was having ABC decided to sign a deal with Disney but this time for something new. “ABC was eager to sign a deal with Disney for another series. After an under-served niche in late afternoon children’s programming was identified, the Mickey Mouse Club was born”(Fritscher).
