How Did Women Start A Civil War

The United States was not truly a land of the free. The North and South had a lot of differences and the South didn’t really appreciate it. The South had a lot more slavery than the North and the North was trying to take away slavery as a whole. A lot of men can’t go into war unless if they are a certain age. The women can’t go into war unless if they become a nurse because they weren’t seen as strong enough as the men were. Since the North and South had a lot of differences they would always start a war because the South wanted what the North had. The South still wanted all of the machines that the North ended up inventing. In the Gettysburg Address it says, “Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.” This civil war was trying to get the North and South pretty equal.
All they did was work in their houses. Some wanted to actually fight but, they could only be nurses for the wars. Women aren’t seen as strong enough as men are so they have the women who want to fight be nurses so that way they are close enough for them to seem like they are fighting. For the men that were going into war they had to be a certain age. The age started out from the men having to be 18-35. Any men below those ages couldn’t be called into service because they would be too young and it would be more devastating to lose someone that young. Most young people wouldn’t be well educated enough to be able to fight. Chapter 22.5 says, “Draft law said that all white men from ages 18 to 35 could be called for three years of military service.” Then the age limit changed to be men that were aged from
