Germany and serving his motherland. But, his passion of patriotism led to nationalism which then developed to ultranationalism. This transition caused the genocide of many Jewish
individuals, also known as the Holocaust. First, he spread hateful propaganda against the Jews to the citizens of Germany for the means of persuasion. Hitler wanted Germany to identify the Jews as the enemy and non-humane individuals. Once propaganda against the minority group was actively spread throughout Germany, all the Jewish citizens residing in the nation would begin to disappear. This disappearance was the result of Hitler ordering Nazi soldiers to take the Jews to concentration camps. These camps were brutal; they starved the victims to death and left their bodies lying around the facilities as if they were a piece of garbage. During this phase in history; if you were a Nazi soldier, you had to be patriotic towards your nation. You had to remain true to Germany and if you failed to do so, you would be exiled. In conclusion, within its borders, Nazi Germany was an example of national patriotism, but viewed from an outside perspective, it made all of mankind its rival.
