How Do Animals Grow Over Time Essay

Have you ever thought about how many animals there were back then? We have been researching the 10 geological time periods and we found some interesting things. Like for example, there were many species of animals, plant, and fungi. There is one big question, has the amount of species gone up or down over time? Yes, I believe that the number of animals living on earth has increased over time, i believe this because scientist are finding new species of some sort, There is a lot of land that could be home to many species, and last is that there has not been a mass extinction in approximately 66 million years. Yes, i think that the amount of species has gone up. I believe this because scientist are always finding new species of some sort. They will find new species during the years, so while there is no mass extinction the scientist will be finding new species of animals. Weather and science facts stated “So we probably know less than ⅕ of the planet's life.” This piece of evidence shows that we do not know all of the planet's life so we definitely know that there is still ⅘ of the world to be discovered.
