How Does Atticus Finch Use Discrimination In To Kill A Mockingbird Essay
Racism has been an ongoing problem for decades and although a lot of progress has been made, racism and discrimination still exist. The novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee highlights Atticus Finch as a reflection to civil rights defenders. In the 1930’s people who fought the rights of blacks would face hate and violence, throughout history there have been white and black defenders of blacks who faced hate and violence, and in the novel Atticus also faces hate and violence for defending an African American man.
