Biomimicry is copying something in life. Bio means Life and Mimic-Copy. One example of biomimicry is velcro. Velcro was founded when George de Mestral was returning from a walk with his dog when he began to wonder how cockle-burs stick to people, so he studied the science of cockle-burs and created Velcro using the science of cockle-burs as stated on the article Invention of Velcro Brand on hookandloop.com/invention-velcro-brand/. The concept of biomimicry is used in almost all inventions. …show more content…
According to Shea Gunther in his article “7 Amazing Examples Of Biomimicry” in the section “Birds=Jets” by traveling in a v-shape with planes taking turns in front as birds do. Also, according to ‘ASEE’ planes don’t flap its wings as birds do. A planes shape and principles are identical to a bird's . While a plane and a bird are similar there are a lot of things behind it that making a bird and a plane identical. So that is the basically what the biomimicry of a plane is and what is its influence. The main question is how do birds influence planes?
How do birds influences planes? Well let’s find out. According to Airplanes.com, states that for a long time aircrafts have roughly designed in imitation of a bird. That helps support the fact that birds are the main influences for the shape of planes. Also according to TeachEngineering.org, airplanes wings are modeled after bird wings. Also airplane wings are also designed based off one of the ways birds fly together which is in a
