While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because of job opportunities and advancements in technology, it was actually a negative thing for society. Industrialization’s negative effects were long term physical effects of poor working conditions, child labor, and various types of pollution. With the exponential rise of factories around the world, the workers had to service long hours and endure poor working conditions that led to long term physical effects.

Along with brutal hours of work and laboring in unsafe conditions both groups of children and adults had to undergo a wide variety of pollution. It is imperative to realize that with the amount of factories, that were now scattered around the states, there was bound to be various types of pollution that could be harmful to people.
