The Crossover by Kwame Alexander coming to age novel was written in a unique poetic form uses line breaks narrative free verse also figurative language including metaphors,similes and more.The Book shows drama and many emotional things such as Josh's and Jb s dad dying because of this health issues,the fight between Josh and Jb two identical twin brothers who had a strong bond that gets broken and threatened in many ways, such as Josh throwing a basketball at Jb s face and breaking his nose and Josh being jealous because Jb got a girlfriend, that Jb cutting off his locs because of a lost bet at the beginning and mom being caring for everyone the whole entire book.
