How Does Macbeth Change Throughout The Play

The character development of Macbeth is that can majorly been seen through the whole play itself. We see the change from a good gentlemen to this evil character, and with this we can also see how the mental state of this character changes, as the play goes on. At the beginning of the play the character of Macbeth is a notable soldier that is willing t fight for his king in battle. Macbeth was a man with lots of bravery as he was very much so a war hero. In Act I scene 2 lines 16 through 20- “For brave Macbeth well he deserves that name disdaining fortune, with his brandished steel, which smoked with bloody execution like valo minion carved his passage till he faced the slave.”- we can see what the king feels about his acts of bravery. Also in Act I Scene 7 lines 46 and 47 it says “I dare do all that may become a man: who dares do more is none.”
He starts to show his true evil side. This beging because he starts to get too much ambition and wants to gain more and more power for himself. He gets his small taste of more when King Duncan makes him the Thane of Cawdor. He falls into the temptations trying to get more power. He is soon pushed to do more by Lady Macbeth, who we see at this time that she is truly crazy as well. He is also being pushed my the witches as they are slowly filling his heart and mind with black. The witches could also have a part with him losing his mind as he starts to see things like when he says “Is this a dagger which i see before me, the handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee. I have thee not and yet i see thee still. Art thou not , fatal vision, sensible to feeling as a to sight? Or art thou but a dagger of the mind, a false creation, proceeding from the head-oppressed brain?” This would be the way he kills King Duncan-with a dagger- and he would take the spot of king and he was not going to let anyone or anything stop
