How Does Mrs. Coulter Affect The Character In The Golden Compass
The actions, thoughts, or dialogue of a character affect other characters. The main character of The Golden Compass is Lyra Belacqua, who has lots of affections to people. The small actions, thoughts, or dialogue can change the mind of people, which means those can change whole story of this book. The actions of a Mrs. Coulter affect Lyra to change her mind about Mrs. Coulter in the page 86: "Mrs. Coulter's daemon sprang off the sofa in a blur of golden fur and pinned Pantalaimon to the carpet before he could move". Before this state, Lyra was not obeying what Mrs. Coulter said; therefore, Mrs. Coulter was angry that she made horrible decision, which make Lyra's daemon hurt.
