How Does Polymath Affect My Life
Everyone has their own story. Each and every person is unique in their own way. Their story might have affected them badly, and what they are now may be a consequence of how they have reacted towards it. Their story might have made them successful in life. They may be brimming with happiness as of now, and all hardships that came with it proved to be worth it.

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to learn. In other words, a polymath is something I'd like to be. When I encounter something I do not comprehend, I would immediately ask my parents or my siblings, lest I forget it. If they do not know it either, I would look it up, either in encyclopedias or on the internet. I believe that my passion in learning inspired me to read books. Other than books, movies and dramas also interest me, as they can also help me learn about different people and broaden my understanding of the outside world. Furthermore, I enjoy learning about other people's lives and I try to imagine living in their shoes. When I visualize living other people's lives, I like to wonder what they feel and what I can do for them. I especially try to show my compassion for people in need. For instance, I like to comfort my friends when they feel downcast or

A successful and happy life means a lot to me so I always do my best in everything I do, especially in my responsibilities. My education is one of my responsibilities, and I regard this of the utmost importance. In my studies, I am continuously top one in class; my grades and my conduct are considered exemplary. In my school, class representatives are appointed in each class. I have been appointed as a class representative, and it has helped me vastly in terms of leadership. I take my responsibilities very seriously. "People trust me enough to do what I'm supposed to do, so why don't I just do it well?" I like to think. Moreover, I have won in various competitions within the school and joined a few

I was a positive outcome of a failed relationship, which almost felt like living two different lives. Similar to the different lives people live at school/work and the ones lived at home. These two lives were completely distant from each other, both literally and figuratively. The school that I come from, Campolindo High School, is one of the best high schools in the state. We were often told to not be worried about getting what we believe to be bad grades in the harder classes that we take because getting a B or sometimes even a C is equivalent to get an A in most other high schools. We have been told throughout high school that a high standard is expected of us, like receiving high scores on standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, AP exams, the CAHSEE, and the Star tests. We are also expected to behave a certain way outside of school because it has a reputation to uphold and all of us are linked to that reputation. I think that high standard from Campolindo has transferred and been engrained in life outside of school. From this point on in my life, I will expect only the best of myself because anything less than that isn’t worth the time or the effort and it just looks bad to other people as well. I don’t have to succeed all the time in everything that I do, but I must always learn from what I fail at so the next time I attempt it, I will succeed. Campolindo High School has opened up endless possibilities for my future and I am very excited to experience them.…

I always strived to do the best that I can, in everything that I do, and this especially applies to academics. In 6th grade, I joined the honors program at my middle school; from then on forward, I made sure than my work was of high enough quality so that the following year I would be placed in honors courses. These courses are what I believe prepared me for my success in high school. I got a taste of what it was like to be in an environment where every pupil was hungry for an education and for knowledge, and I grew to want to learn as much as my classmates. I think that if you are 100% responsible, then you can achieve anything you set your mind to accomplish. In college, you are responsible for making sure your work is complete, on time and turned in correctly. Also, when you are working in teams, you should make sure that you contribute to the project at hand, turn your assignments in on time and help someone when need. All in all, we will not always agree with someone else's opinion, so be respectful in the way you respond to them. Think before you speak, this is a responsible way to be.…
