How Does Ponys Affect Pony's Life

How has Ponyboy's life changed during all the events that happened in the Outsiders. Ponyboy has many conflicts throughout the book but the main conflict was whether Pony was going to become a hood or a genius. During this rigid conflict Pony depends on his friends choices. While many characters impact and help Pony throughout his internal struggle, Johnny Cade’s choices impacts Pony’s life, self-concept, and relationships with his peers the most.
