How Does Scrooge Change In A Christmas Carol

A heartless man gets his life change on an overnight trip with three ghosts. In 1843 a now, well-known novella “ A Christmas Carol” wrote by Charles Dickens is one of the best holiday classics. Ebenezer Scrooge is the main character of “A Christmas Carol” and who is a greedy old man, that only cares for himself. Several events cause this remarkable change in Scrooge’s heart. In the beginning of the story, Scrooge hated Christmas. One day while on his way home he kept on seeing Marley’s face everywhere. When he arrived home, Marley’s apparition appeared. Marley warned Scrooge to change his ways before it was too late. He also, told him that three ghosts will haunt him until he changed his ways. Scrooge just wanted for all the ghost
to visit him at once. Later on that night, the ghost of Christmas past came to visit Scrooge. He appeared in a white tunic while holding a fresh green holly in one of his hands. Past tells Scrooge to touch his hand and he would be able to go in the past with him. Scrooge's see a painful memory of his fiancé leaving him because of his money greed. Scrooge cannot Bear to see this memory and begs to go back home. The ghost of Christmas past reminds him of his painful past so he can change his life.

The ghosts of Christmas present appears with striking thunder, he's wearing a green robe “touch my robe” he says. Scrooge complies and as he touches the robe, he gets transported to Bob Cratchit's house. The ghost of Christmas present shows how happy the Cratchits are and for Scrooge to have less greed.

Future then appears and doesn't speak to Scrooge at all. Scrooge was now ready to go in the future and see how his life change. Future takes Scrooge to see his very own tombstone, shocked to see himself in the grave. Scrooge learns that it would be best to appreciate and learn to control his greed and nicer. He then sends a turkey to Bob Cratchit's house for him and his family to enjoy.
