2.46 billion people are connected through social media every single day and the number one social media used worldwide is Facebook; as of 2017. With this number of people on social media, every single day, we are forgetting about socialising with friends and family. Social media are making more and more people isolated. Social media is creating a number issues in our society and only more and more people are going to sign up and get involved.

With this, people are afraid to walk out of there house as they are so impacted by what people have said or posted about them. “I am worried about my future and my friends and it’s all because of this photo that leaked all over the internet. If you say something that’s hurtful and it goes out on the internet there’s a chance that more and more people will follow that hateful comment; this could ruin your reputation. This is known as cyberbullying which is a big issue ever since the internet came out. A research study claims that 8 out of 10 people will experience cyberbullying but 1 out 100 will do something about it. This is not good for our society.
