How Does The Giver Leave The Community?

In the story The Giver by Lois Lowry,they have their own community and in the community they have to follow a set of rules.They’re many rules but one stands out and important.The rule was that nobody in the community depart from it.These was to prevent the people from experiencing the outside life such as animals,rain,snow,etc…The community was very empty such as everything in a person image,looking greyish and plain.Nothing was ever the same.Climate didn’t even exist because weather,such as snow ruin crop plantation so they excluded from the society.That why they set the rule to not leave the community because then people would experience things they never have seen or start questioning the elder and the council for these new action or experience
