This is a picture of me at my favorite surf spot Kona Inn. I was introduced to this spot by my gregarious friend Logan Mccollum. During the production of his bodyboarding video I fell in love with the wave. At first, I was too frightened by the shallow, very jagged reef but soon I began to grow very passionate about these sort of waves. My friends and I would surf this spot and feel like it was our second home. People were hardly ever in the water and most that knew about Kona Inn knew how secret people kept such a discretion about it. Over the years I surfed this spot, it always amazed me how other spots wouldn't have any waves but Kona Inn would.
