1. How does this occupation match your interests?
The occupations that I am currently considering are child and family social worker, social and community service managers and regulatory affairs manager. Each occupation I am researching matches my interests in different ways. Being a child and family social worker gives me the opportunity to still will work with children and make a difference, only I am not teaching them. I am helping them improve their current living situation if it they are at risk of harm or injury. Being a social and community service manager matches my interests because I will be working with people to plan direct and coordinate activities and programs that will influence the community. A career as gaming manager is a little further away from working with kids and the community, but I can still work and communicate with individuals in continuance of ensuring that a system is working well and tracking

How does it match all that you know about your skills?
Being a child and family social worker matches all of my skills and more. A few basic skills that are required for a job like this are listening and talking to people, noticing problems and trying to figure out how to help them, understanding people’s reactions, being dependable and adaptable to situations. In my current job, I practice those skills everyday working with special needs students as well as working closely with the staff. I can confidently say that this is my ideal occupation.
Being a social and community service manager is very close in matching my skills. When using O*NET to evaluate the occupation, there were twenty three skills that came up that transferred from my current job. Let me mention a few skills that were listed; active listening, speaking, time management, coordination, and critical thinking. I forgot to mention in my introduction that I am also a high school volleyball coach, so those skills also transfer in many different ways into these

    The title of the poem “To Hell and Back, with Cake” is exactly what the young girl in goes through to get cupcakes, a desirable treat or reward. The poem has a lot to do with racism and discrimination.
