How does your passion shape your future?
In today’s era, one could quiet observe that the most famous statement is, “The future lies in the hands of the youth”. But, had this question not entered into our minds—“How can this be possible?” Living in a seemingly unprogressive nation, we, the youth, could help make it possible by starting to consider first our very own selves instead of blaming it all to the authorities. Take responsibility for your life. Experiment with different things and you’ll know your passion. Define your passion and you’ll figure out your potentials. Figure out your potentials and you’ll shape your future. Everything chimes in together-- your train of thoughts and burning desires would absolutely bring you to unlimited surprises.
I believe that the greatest question that our hearts should ponder on is, “What is my passion in life?” I think I’ve found mine. In fact, deep down, I’ve always known what my passion is, and my purpose, the “point” of my life, gets clearer everyday. I’ve found that purpose starts to emerge when we get in touch with our deepest passions, and start to be honest about them.
How do we find our passion? – A question lots of people ask. Indeed. But this question results in quite a bit of frustration and confusion. If only we have a “pause button” on our forehead that read “push me” we would have the chance to stay still for a moment. By doing this, I think most of us could clearly see obvious hints as to what our passions really are. I know one of the major blockages is figuring out how, and believing we can, turn our passions into a lifestyle where we can still pay the bills and get by in the so-called “real world.” As a matter of fact, figuring out what our passion really is is like stepping out of our comfort zones.
